According to the Patrick County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a “shots fired” call about 8 AM Wednesday morning at 1249 Dan Valley Farm Road in Claudville. When they got there, the home was on fire. By the time firefighters arrived the home was fully involved. Two bodies were recovered in the totally destroyed home. Both have been sent to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Roanoke in order to determine identification and cause of death. Sheriff Dan Smith said the home was occupied by Ronnie Glenn Terry and his wife Carol Ann Terry. He said he thought the incident was the result of a domestic dispute.
