Heavy rain may cause flooding Friday and into the weekend. A weak cold front will break up across the northern Appalachians today allowing a low pressure system from the northeast to move in today into Friday. High pressure will replace this system early next week. Expect a 30 percent chance of rain or freezing rain tonight, a 90 percent chance of rain Friday, 100 percent chance Friday night, and a 60 percent chance Saturday morning. Another 50 percent chance of showers returns Saturday night before becoming partly cloudy Sunday and then sunny on Monday.
