A weak cold front will drift south of the area early today then stall across the Carolinas. High pressure will slide eastward across New England today, then wedge southwestward along the Appalachian Mountains late today and tonight. Another frontal system will approach from the west Tuesday, followed by a secondary more significant Canadian front Wednesday that will bring much colder air with strong and gusty northwest winds for the latter half of the week. There will be chances for rain and snow with the mid-week fronts.
