A cold front will approach the region from the northwest this morning before crossing the area by this evening. A weak area of low pressure will move from the Lower Mississippi River Valley later today to the Carolinas by Saturday, bringing precipitation to our region Friday night and Saturday. Our weather pattern will remain active into early next week as a series of low pressure systems and frontal boundaries move through the area, especially Sunday into Sunday night, and then again by the middle of next week.

In the forecast – Some sun and windy today. Rain beginning tonight and continuing through Thursday of next week. A high of 63 today and an low of 44 tonight. Highs Saturday through Thursday 44-54 and lows in the 30’s.
