The National Weather Service in Blacksburg says several rounds of moderate to heavy rainfall from Wednesday through Friday are likely, which could lead to flooding and river flooding. An area of low pressure to our west will move across the region today into tonight. After the storm moves to our east, expect a break in the wet weather Monday afternoon into Monday night. A frontal boundary will become nearly stationary across us for much of next week. Multiple rounds of precipitation are anticipated along with the potential for heavy rain.
