Martinsville police are cracking down on parked cars parked on the street. The law says if the vehicle is not functional, or doesn’t have a valid state inspection and tags, you’re not allowed to keep it on the street. Police are contacting the owners and if nothing is done, the vehicle will be towed at the owner’s expense. Every road in the city is being checked.
