Martinsville held its first-ever “food truck rodeo” in Uptown Martinsville Sunday afternoon. Normally, the out-of-town food trucks will get a permit to park near an event Uptown and sell food. In this case, the food is the event, and that’s all there is. About a dozen food trucks parked Uptown were selling their cuisine to several hundred people in a closed-off section of East Church Street. The rodeo was in Danville on Saturday.
