There are two seats coming available on the Martinsville City School Board and Council will decide who to appoint among five candidates that have applied for the position. Joan Montgomery resigned when she became ineligible to serve after moving to the County. Eric Hruza’s seat is expiring. Hruza is asking for another term. Others on the list are Tony Jones, Yvonne Givens, Emily Parker, and Dr. Mary Ruth Reynolds. City council members will interview the candidates and make the appointments at their June 25th meeting.
