Police are looking for a North Carolina man in the attack of a 72-year-old man in Danville. 39-year-old Lindsey A. Wilson, 39, of Yanceyville is wanted by Danville police for beating the elderly man on the Fourth of July. He faces a malicious wounding charge. Danville Police were called to Sovah Health Danville about 12:30 Thursday morning, where investigators found a man suffering from blunt force trauma and lacerations to his head and neck. He was later transported to Duke Medical Center, where he was last listed in serious condition. Whoever dropped the man off at the hospital left before authorities arrived; however, police found the vehicle in the 800 block of Betts Street. Investigators searched the car and believe that is where the man was assaulted.
