A voluntary recall has been issued for hamburger and hot dog buns sold at Walmart, after plastic pieces were found in the food. Flower Foods Inc., issued a recall for buns and other baked goods on Tuesday due to the potential presence of hard plastic pieces were found in production equipment that could have been transferred to the product. Virginia is among several states where the buns were sold, according to a news release. Other states include Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and West Virginia. Many popular brands are under the recall, including Great Value sold at Walmart.
