The Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office said a man has been arrested after shooting someone in Gretna early Sunday morning. The sheriff’s office said they were called to the 8000 block of West Gretna Road around 1:30 a.m. for a report of someone being shot. Once on the scene, deputies said they found the victim lying on the side of the road bleeding from an apparent gunshot wound. They said that 60-year-old Michael Randolph Vaughan was arrested at the scene and charged with felonious assault.
