Stores are pulling Tuscan Sun chicken-salad sandwiches from their shelves after fear of listeria contamination. According to CNN Newsource, listeria is especially harmful to young children, the elderly and anyone with weak immune systems, and no illness cases have yet to be reported. Among the symptoms to be alert for are high fever, severe headaches, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. According to CNN Newsource, customers are directed to throw their items away or take them back to the stores where they were bought.
