It was a picture-perfect day in downtown Stuart on Saturday, where several thousand people attended the annual Apple Dumpling Festival.
The annual autumn celebration is held on the third Saturday in October and features a 5K race in the morning, followed by the main festival from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., offering apple treats, local crafts, live music, food, and vendors.
The event celebrates the fall harvest and local heritage, drawing crowds to the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains, according to the Town of Stuart.
Saturday’s weather included lots of sunshine and temperatures in the 70s.
