Axton Solar requested, and was granted, a two-year extension for its 200-megawatt facility in Henry and Pittsylvania counties. The Pittsylvania County Board of Supervisors awarded the extension after it was explained that there were some permitting delays on the Henry County side. Vesper Energy will not be given until 2027 to complete the project. Pittsylvania County also negotiated a siting agreement with Vesper, resulting in more than $1.3 million.
