The Mustangs broke their five-game losing streak last night, beating Forest City 12-3. Martinsville has won 2 of its last 10 games, and holds on to last place in the CPL’s West Division with a season record of 6-18. Last night was the midway point of the season, the 24th game of a 48-game season. The Mustangs travel to Thomasville tonight to play the HiToms, who share first place in the West with Asheboro. Martinsville will be back at home on Sunday for a second game with the HiToms.
