Obituaries

Annie Osborne Donley, 96, of Martinsville, VA passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026. She was born on January 22, 1930, in Pittsylvania County, VA to the late Rose Anne Toler Osborne and William T. Osborne. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Richard Donley; daughter, Regina D. Johnston; sisters, Dorothy Moore, Ruby Craven, Evelyn Perry, and Relda Shelton; brothers, Burton Osborne, Carl Osborne, William Osborne, Onyx Osborne, and Lindsey Jean Osborne.

She was a member of Freedom Baptist Church and, in more recent years, attended New Covenant in Myrtle Beach. She especially cherished the simple joys of life—spending time on her porch, surrounded by neighbors and friends, sharing laughter and companionship.

Ms. Donley is survived by her daughter, Robin Robertson (Aubrey); Steve Martin, son by love; sisters, Gladys Osborne and Brenda Brooks; brothers, Roger Osborne (Susie), and Emory Osborne (Sandra); grandchildren, Jessica Keffer (Paul), and Sara Fuqua (Tommy); great-grandchildren, Emily, Ethan, Eli and Ellie. Also surviving are numerous nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 6, 2026, at Norris Funeral Services. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Norris Funeral Services, Martinsville Chapel with Pastor Paul Keffer officiating. Burial will be held at Roselawn Burial Park.

In lieu of flowers, you may make donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (due to mom’s overwhelming love for children) or an organization of your choice in her honor.
