Arthur "Art" B. Foley, 88, of Henry, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on February 25, 1934, in Patrick County, to the late William Arthur Foley and the late Clara LaPrade Foley. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Mary S. Foley; son, Alton B. Foley; and siblings, Lloyd Foley, Fred Foley, Donnie Foley, Vera Young, Nancy Bousman, Archie Foley, Kermit Foley and Earl Lee Foley.

Art is survived by his wife of 16 years, Betty Jo Stultz Foley; daughter, Leslie Houston (Steve) of Collinsville; brothers, Jimmy Foley (Shelvie) of Collinsville, and Donald Foley (Rita) of Ferrum; sister, Evadale Scearce of Bassett; grandchildren, Tonya Davidson, Nic Houston, and Katie Houston; great-grandchildren, Chris Davidson and Brendon Davidson; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, September 19, 2022, from 5:30 until 7 p.m. in the Bassett Funeral Service Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Larry Cheeck officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Burial Park in Martinsville.
