Obituaries

Barbara Jean Quesenberry, 83, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at her home in Collinsville, VA. Barbara was surrounded by her family as she transitioned to her heavenly home. Barbara was born on October 18, 1942, in Carroll County, VA to the late Alice Burnette. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Connie Quesenberry, her son, Barry Quesenberry, and adopted son, Billy Rose.

Barbara was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She was a dedicated employee of Stanley Furniture, where she retired after 42 years. She spent the remainder of her earthly life dedicated to her family. Barbara was an integral part of her community and a faithful member of Free Worship Baptist Church. Barbara will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her daughters, Karen Manley and Sharon Ramon; 4 granddaughters, Jamie, Crystal, Tracie, and Kayla; 5 great-grandsons, Alex, Tyler, Luis, Javier, and Lucas; 3 great-granddaughters, Sophia, Selena, and Ciara; and 1 great-great-grandson, Christian.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2025, at Bassett Funeral Service Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Roselawn Burial Bark.
