Obituaries

Brenda Lee Wishnevsky Witcher, 56, of Chatham Virginia, transitioned to her heavenly home Sunday, November 30, 2025. She was born June 26, 1969, in Danville, Virginia to the late Eugene Wishnevsky and Nancy Irene Rigney Heath.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Calvin Rigney.

Brenda was of the Christian faith and loved God tremendously. Her faith in God allowed her to show her family how to open their hearts to God and follow in her footsteps. She was well known to have a giving spirit and would be the first to give you the shirt off of her back if needed. She never met a stranger and would strike up a conversation with you whenever she had a chance. Brenda enjoyed spending time and making memories with all her family and friends and loved them all dearly.

She is survived by her son, Dustin Wishnevsky; sister, Wendy Heath (David); grandchildren, Adalyn Wishnevsky, Gabriel Wishnevsky; nieces, Ariana Dove, Ava Crews, Bailey Rigney and a host of extended family and friends.

All services will be private. The family wishes to express their gratitude for the many kindnesses evidenced in thought and deed, and for your attendance at this service.
