Obituaries

Carolyn Marie Turner Miller, 71, of Martinsville, Virginia, transitioned to her heavenly home Tuesday, March 17, 2025. She was born May 21, 1954, to the late Marvin R. Turner, Jr., and Edith Mae Chaney Turner.

Carolyn was a woman of deep Christian faith who loved God wholeheartedly. She lived a rich and meaningful life alongside her devoted husband of forty-one years, cherishing him as well as her many friends and family. A proud patriot, she honorably served her country in the United States Army. Carolyn also dedicated thirty-five years of her life to caring for others as a certified nursing assistant, leaving a lasting impact through her compassion and commitment.

Left to Cherish her memory are her devoted husband, Kenneth Paul Miller; brothers, Tommy Turner (Mary), Phillip Turner (Brenda), and Marvin Turner, III “Buddy” (Libby); along with a host of extended family and friends.

Although all services will be private, the family wishes to extend their gratitude for the outpouring of love and kindness that has been shown during their time of grief.
