Coy Benjamin Lawson, 68, of Rocky Mount Virginia, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2025, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Coy was born on October 7, 1957, to Alice Joesphine Lovins Trail and Vernon Benjamin Lawson both of Patrick County Virginia.

Coy worked for Bassett Furniture Company and Serenity Rockwood Cabinets. He loved his family unconditionally. He loved to build model cars, play his guitar and loved to dance.

He is survived by his siblings, Susie Atkins, Carolyn Puckett (Carl), Donna Trail (Rodney James), Lynn Scott (Brian McGhee), Melinda Reel (David), C.W. Trail (Stephanie); many nieces and nephews; and a very special friend Ronnie Branch. Until we meet again my brother..... “Later”
