Obituaries

Cynthia Diuguid White, 61, of Axton, Virginia, entered her heavenly rest Sunday, February 15, 2026. She was born in Eden, North Carolina, on May 20, 1964, to Bobby White and the late Brenda Diuguid White.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her brother, Russell White.

Cynthia was of the Christian faith and a devoted member of Axton United Methodist Church, where she found a loving faith community. She attended Laurel Park High School and most recently was employed by Kroger. She enjoyed good meals and spending time with her family, holding a deep love for her daughter and her grandchildren. Her absence has left a void that can only be filled by sweet memories of the special moments they shared.

Along with her father, she is survived by her daughter, Missy Barker; sister, Robin Legus; brother, Jamie White (Kim); grandchildren, Gracie Barker, Allie Barker, Sapphira Barker, Dominic Barker, Savage Barker, Sincere Barker, Xander Barker; companion, Tony Watkins; and special friend, Renee Meeks.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Axton United Methodist Church Cemetery located at 5170 Irisburg Road, Axton, Virginia 24054.
