Obituaries

Damiean Keith Brown, 48, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2026. He was born March 11, 1978, in Richmond, Virginia to Marilyn Mae Brown and the late Allen Dale Cotman.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Louise Allen and Melvin Peter Allen.

Damiean attended Love and Hope Ministries. He was employed for many years at Hanesbrand as a tow motor operator. He enjoyed spending time at the beach and loved cruising around, simply enjoying getting out and being on the go.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his fiance, Terria Penn and her children, Alexsia and Tayvion, who he cared for so much; mother-In-law, Frances Cobbs; loving sister in law, Desiree Penn; one sister; four brothers; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Martinsville Chapel, 1425 Greensboro Road, Martinsville, Virginia 24112.
