Diana Martin O’Dell, 64, of Rocky Mount, Virginia, transitioned to her heavenly home Saturday, February 28, 2026. She was born May 20, 1961, in Rocky Mount, Virginia, to the late David Martin and Janice Cooper Washburn Martin.

Diana life was grounded in her Christian faith. She shared a close bond with her sister, Janine and husband David, and treasured the time they spent together on the farm each weekend. She dearly loved her grandchildren and had a special place in her heart for animals, especially her cats. Diana enjoyed riding motorcycles with her late husband, Jimmy, with whom she shared more than twenty-five years of marriage. She held a bachelor’s degree in business and worked for many years as a stockbroker assistant.

She is survived by her son, James “Davy” David O’Dell (Macayla); sister, Janine Martin Taylor (David); brother, David Blane Martin; grandchildren, Mackenzie Rae O’Dell, James Reid O’Dell; special niece, Jessie O’Dell Divens (Dominique); niece, Amanda Blane Martin; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude for all the love, prayers and support given during this time of grief.
