Douglas Ray Flaneary, 39, of Bassett, Virginia, passed away Sunday , March 29, 2026. He was born July 15, 1986, in Martinsville, Virginia to Douglas Fain and the late Laura Michelle Flaneary.

Douglas was employed by Stone Dynamics, where he worked as a supervisor for six years. He was a graduate of Patrick County High School and loved his children dearly.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his sons, Tyler Flaneary, Mason Flaneary; sister, Courtney Thompson; brothers, Austin Fain, Justin Fain, Brandon Fain; grandparents, Lynnette Williams and Raymond Earl Flaneary; uncle and best friend, Ray Flaneary.

Services will be announced at a later date.
