Mr. Frank Albert Spencer, Jr, “Frankie,” age 67, of Stuart, Viriginia passed away at the Sheila Strauss Hospice House in Roanoke on Thursday, March 5, 2026. He was born in Patrick County on January 25, 1959. Mr. Spencer was preceded in death by his mother, Dovie Fain Spencer; maternal grandparents, James and Emma Fain; and paternal grandparents, John and Dorothy Spencer. Frankie earned an associate’s degree in business management from the National Business College. He was a loyal employee for J.D. Bassett Furniture for over 30 years, where he was an assistant superintendent. Frankie enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors.

Left to cherish the memories of Frankie are his four children, Autumn Angel Spencer, Kevan Tanner Spencer, Kody Austin Spencer, and Keeper Trey Spencer, all of Erwin, Tennessee; his father, Frank Albert Spencer, Sr. of Stuart; one sister, Teresa Spencer Lawson of Patrick Springs; one nephew, Joshua (Stacia) Lawson of Chase City, and one great-nephew, Gaige Lawson of Stuart.

A graveside service for Mr. Spencer will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. in Patrick Memorial Gardens with Pastor Mark Wright officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:45 A.M. to 12:45 P.M. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart prior to the service.
