Jimmy Lee Mannon, 72, of Blacksburg, Virginia, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2026. He was born in Norfolk, Virginia, on November 5, 1953, to Merle Brickhouse Mannon and the late Harvey Lee Mannon, Sr.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia Ann Ingrahm; and brothers, Gary Wayne Mannon and Harvey Lee Mannon, Jr.

Jimmy was employed at Bassett Furniture for several years. A true outdoorsman, he loved being in nature, working on the farm, and, particularly, fishing and camping. Playing horseshoes was a favorite pastime; he even earned trophies for his skill. Jimmy deeply loved his family and enjoyed visiting and making special memories with them.

Along with his mother, he is survived by his sisters, Jennifer Post, Valerie Lynn Scott (Ricky); brother, William Randold Mannon; favorite cousin Rose-Rose; nephew Mitchell Mannon; nieces Cathy Hale, Norma Greene; additional nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Henry Memorial Park with Pastor George Close officiating.
