Mr. John M. Lewis Jr. age 57, of Meadows of Dan, passed away at his home on Friday, December 19, 2025. He was born on October 21,1968 in Prince William County, Manassas,Virginia to John Lewis Sr. and Cornelia Stanley Lewis. He was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Wayne Lewis; son-in-law, Paul Reckner; paternal grandparents, Earl and Edna Lewis; maternal grandparents, James Stanley and Elsie Harr; and his most prized Jack Russell, Frussel.

He was a graduate of Patrick County High School class of 1986. He was quick witted, funny, and a joy to be around. He also enjoyed old Ford cars. John loved and adored his wife, kids, and parents.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife of 37 years, Teri Alderman Lewis; one son, Thomas (Tommy) Wayne Lewis (Mollie); one daughter, Sherri (Sis) Diane Lewis Reckner; two sisters, Patty Benfield (Benny) and Carolyn Lewis; one brother, Bobby Lewis; several nieces and nephews.

All services for Mr. Lewis will be private.
