Obituaries

Karen Diane Leonard, 55, of Ridgeway, Virginia, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2026. She was born in Eden, North Carolina, on August 19, 1970, to the late Wesley P. Leonard and Clara L. Williams Leonard.

Karen was of the Holiness faith and was dearly loved by her family and friends. She graduated from Magna Vista High School, then worked three decades in the furniture industry. She loved her cat and dog; she was a woman of varied interests and in her leisure time, enjoyed watching television, playing games, and shopping. Spending time with her family was a priority and she loved making memories with each of them.

Those left to cherish and honor her memory are her son, Justin Allen Workman; sister, Shirley Shelton; brother, Wesley Wayne Leonard; grandchild, Willow Rayne Workman; two nieces; and two nephews.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Martinsville Chapel with a visitation held one-half hour prior to the service. The family will receive extended family and friends at the home of Linda Martin located at 189 Sinclair Street, Ridgeway, Virginia 24148.
