Larry David Moser, Sr., 78, of Collinsville, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2026. He was born on April 28, 1948, in Maryville, Tennessee, to the late Albert Moser and Sara Marie White Moser.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Peggy Bryant; brother, Arthur Moser; sister-in-law, Mary Jane White.

Larry was of the Baptist faith. He worked for many years at Tuftco Finishing as a Field Technician. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking and traveling. Larry appreciated the simple things in life and cherished the time spent with his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Faye Moser; daughters, Tammy Elaine Moser, Jessica Dawn Skeens (Billy Jamison); sons, Larry David Moser, Jr. (Waynelia), Christopher Michael Moser (Alicia), Christopher Scott Fretwell; sisters, Freda Miller and Kay Livesay (Mike); sisters-in-law, Barbara Hill, Patricia Zeigler (Clarence); brother-in-law, John Hill (Cindy Seay); grandchildren, Brittany Pruitt, Ashley Douglas, Taylor Moser, Kelsey Moser, Emily Moser, Breanne Talley, Travis Talley, Cameron Talley, Paiton Moser; Jake Moser, Spencer Jamison, Carter Jamison, Jesse Fretwell, Jacob Fretwell; nine great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 4:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Martinsville Chapel with Pastor Jody Pollard and Pastor Dean White officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private.
