Larry Gene Wilson, 76, of Axton, VA passed away on January 29, 2026. He was born on July 19, 1949, in Washington, DC to the late Theodore Anderson Wilson and Virginia Edna Smallwood Wilson. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Wilson.

He is survived by his wife of fifty one years, Judy Elizabeth Grau Wilson; son, Robert Tyler Wilson of Staunton, VA; sisters, Carol Shimel of Martinsville, VA, Barbara Rash of Clayton, DE, Susan Wilson of Martinsville, VA, and Donna Hall (Kevin) of Shepherdstown, WV; sister-in-law, Rosie Wilson of Canada; brothers, Robbie Wilson (Mary) of Broad Run, VA, and Wendell Wilson (Linda) of Tremont, IL; a lifetime friend, Angel McCoy of London, KY; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
