Obituaries

Lori Ann Clark Perkins, 63, of Callands, VA passed away on Monday, April 6, 2026, at her home. She was born to Ronald Darryl Clark & Evelyn Mae Smith Clark.

Lori is survived by her husband, Wayne Perkins; sons, Austin Perkins and Josh Purcell; sisters, Lindia Eason (Dusty) and Melissa Bolt (Wayne); and nephews, Ronald Edwards and Bryce Eason.

Lori was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend. She had the biggest smile on her face, no matter the battles she was facing, and brought light into every room she walked into. She was truly one of the sweetest and kindest souls to ever touch this earth. Lori fought cancer with incredible strength and courage for two years, showing unwavering resilience and grace throughout her journey.

She found joy in the simple things—loving her animals, working in the yard, planting flowers, cooking for those she cared about, and painting. Lori also loved helping Wayne coach football, where she became known as “Mom” to so many players she cared for like her own. She enjoyed cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs, listening to her country music, and most of all, spending time with her family and loved ones. Her love, kindness, and spirit will never be forgotten by those who knew her.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Norris Funeral Services, with Pastor Seth Robertson officiating. A visitation will be held on Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Burial will follow the service at the Perkins Home.
