Obituaries

Lynneta Lee Moore, 69, of Martinsville, Virginia, entered her eternal rest Sunday, February 8, 2026. She was born on July 30, 1956, in Amherst, Virginia, to the late Roy Burks and Alma Alene Mays Burks.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Randall Wayne Moore.

Lynneta was of the Baptist denomination in the Christian faith. She was employed as a cashier at Shell Gas Station. In her leisure time she enjoyed watching Fox News and spending time with her grandbabies. Above all, she will be remembered for the deep love she had for her family. Her legacy of love and strength will forever be imprinted on the hearts of her friends and loved ones.

She is survived by her daughters, Sarah Gomez (Victor), Jamie Moore, Margie Mendez; son, Colton Moore (Kristen); sister, Margaret Lawhorne; grandchildren, Alexander Gomez, Tyler Gomez-Vera, Victor Vera, Jasmine Gomez, Gabriela Mondragon, Bulmaro Mandragon, Lilliana Mendez, Ana Corchachdo, Katie (Kyle) Knox, Angelina Corchachdo, McKayla Corchachdo; great-grandchildren, Colton Moore, Jr., Rayven Moore, Dwayne Moore, Madelynn Moore, Grayson Moore, Waylon Moore, Ryker Moore, Kayden Martin, Kowhen Martin-Gomez; previous son-in-law, Hector Mendez; special grandson-at-heart, Edward Wiggins.
