Obituary For Margaret Ann Fountain Lampkins
Margaret Ann Fountain Lampkins, 79, of Axton, VA transitioned on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at UVA Medical Center in Charlottesville, VA. She was born in Henry County, VA a daughter of the late Robert and Josephine Fountain.
She was retired from Tultex and HanesBrand after 50 years of dedicated service. She was a member of Greater Refuge Center of Deliverance where she seved on the Usher ministry.
Left to cherish her beautiful memory include one daughter, Elaine (James) Carter of Axton, VA; and one son Gene Lampkins, of Axton, VA; 3 grandchildren 4 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 15, 2026 at 3:00 PM at Greater Refuge Center of Deliverance 718 Stoney Mountain Road, Martinsville, VA with Minister Arnold Bullock, eulogist. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one half hour prior to the funeral and will be at the home at other times at 1455 Martin Lane, Axton, VA at other times.
A public viewing will be held Saturday, March 14, 2026 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at Hines Funeral Services.
