Obituary For Margaret Marie Madison Divens
Margaret Marie Madison Divens, 84, departed this life on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at Martinsville Health & Rehab Center. She was born in Henry County, VA a daughter of the late James and Dora Adams Madison. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Divens.
She was retired from W. M. Bassett Furniture after 15 years of service and was a member of First Baptist Church - East Martinsville.
Those left to cherish her memory include her two daughters, Carolina Divens of Martinsville, Va and Joyce Divens. of Danville, VA and 2 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, May 18, 2026 at 12:00 PM at Hines Funeral Services chapel with Rev. Dr.. Charles Whitfield, officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends one half hour prior to the funeral and will be at the home of her daughter (Carolina) at 307 Rives Road # 2 Martinsville at other times.
A public viewing will be held Sunday, May 17, 2026 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at Hines Funeral Services.
