Michael David Wagner, 60, of Bassett, Virginia, passed away at the home on Thursday, February 5, 2026. He was born February 14, 1965, in Martinsville, Virginia, to the late Alois A. Wagner and the late Ola B. Wagner.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and son. He cherished spending time with his family and had a passion for painting cars.

Michael is survived by his wife Sandra D. Wagner; two sons Michael E. Wagner (Deanna) and David A. Wagner (Carlos); one daughter, Crystal M. Minter (Chris); eight grandchildren, Zaavan (Hailey), Kaci, Aiden, Xzavian, Malachi, Jackson, Adalynn, and Kevin; one brother, Ricky A. Wagner (Margaret); and his beloved fur baby Jasmine.

The family will receive friends at the home, 131 Bay Drive, Bassett, Virginia 24055, on Tuesday February 10, 2026, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. The family will hold a private memorial ceremony at a later date.
