Nancy Lee Turner, 74, of Bassett, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2026. She was born on September 29, 1951, in Henry County, Virginia, to the late Samuel Turner and Hazel Turner.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Mark Anthony Turner; sisters, Lucy Turner and Nonie Turner; and brothers, David Turner and James Turner.

Nancy worked for many years in the furniture industry as a general laborer. She was known for her kind heart, caring spirit, and willingness to help anyone in need. Nancy loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with her friends at Brookshire Apartments. She lived life to the fullest, had a wonderful sense of humor, and was known as quite the jokester.

She is survived by her sister, Gracie Ann Easter; her bonus grandchildren who she loved as her own, Kasydie McBride, Jayden Jones, and Trinity Alley; as well as many other family members and friends who will cherish her memory.

Although services are private, the family wishes to express their sincere appreciation for all acts of kindness, love, and support shown during this difficult time.
