Obituaries

Posey "Chip" Gordon Young Jr., 60, of Spencer, Va. passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2022. He was born on September 17, 1961, to the late Bettie Barrow Young and Posey Gordon Young Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Kelly Young Powell.

He is survived by his wife, Jill Young; daughter, Katelynn Butler (Conner); son, Isaiah Young; grandchildren, Bentlee Butler, Emory Butler, and Addie Mae Young; and his brother, Mike Young (Sandra).

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Barrow Family Cemetery with Minister Lee Ashley officiating.
