Obituaries

Ronald Wayne McGugan, 46, of Axton, Virginia, transitioned from this earthly life Tuesday, November 11, 2025. He was born in Thomasville, North Carolina, on August 30, 1979, to Ernest Bowles and the late Debbie Sparks Bowles.

He was man of faith and attended Deliverance Church of Christ in Eden, North Carolina. Ronald loved spending time outdoors and building things. He enjoyed reading and particularly found strength in reading and studying the Bible. He was known for the way he loved his children and grandchildren. They will always remember the time he spent with them and the memories they made together.

Ronald is survived by his daughters, Rebekah Manns (Raekwon), Olivia McGugan; sons, Gavriel McGugan (Jaidyn), Noah McGugan; brothers, Charles McGugan, Joseph McGugan; grandchildren, Lucas McGugan, Alexander McGugan, Journee Manns, and Holdenn McGugan, and Sheri McGugan, the mother of his children Gavriel and Rebekah.

All services will be private. The family wishes to express their gratitude for the love and support that has been shown during this time.
