Stephen Eugene Moore, 62, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away Monday, March 16, 2026. He was born January 14, 1964, in Pulaski, Virginia, to the late Albert Donald Moore and Ida Lorraine Harrell Moore.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Donald Moore.

Stephen was a man who lived a simple, but full life. He loved horses and watching western movies. He enjoyed things related to Harry Potter and was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys football team.

He is survived by his fiancé, Jennifer Tucker, whom he loved for 22 years; his daughters, Heather Brooks (Jimmy), Mary Ann Tucker; son, Joshua “Sponge” Horton, sisters, Susan Fennell (Mark), Jane Moore; brothers, Wayne Moore (Jennifer), Daniel Moore; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

Services will be held at a later date. The family wishes to express their gratitude for the love and support that have been shown during their time of grief.
