Tarrace Lamont Carter, 51, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, passed away at his home Saturday, February 28, 2026. He was born in Martinsville, Virginia, on April 3, 1974, to Carolyn Diane Carter and James Reynolds (Sandra).

Tarrace was a man who deeply loved his family. He was very good with math and had varied interests, including playing basketball and video games. He enjoyed watching movies.

He is survived by his daughter, Shaterrance Aayiah Carter (Nikki); his son, Tarrace Lamont Reynolds, Jr.; and sister, Tamatha Thomas (Robert); niece, Ariel Carter; nephew, Roberto Thomas; devoted girlfriend, Lisa Nelson; numerous cousins, extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Martinsville Chapel.
