Tony Lee Watkins, 67, of Axton, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2026. He was born on April 2, 1959, in Eden, North Carolina, to Jesse Lee Watkins and Donna Kay Smith Kennon.

He was preceded in death by Cindy White, his companion of over twenty years.

Tony worked in the HVAC industry for several years. Known for his love of fast cars, he enjoyed driving his old 1967 Chevelle. He also loved watching wrestling matches and going to rock and roll concerts.

He is survived by Missy Barker, to whom he was a father figure; brother, Tim Kennon; cousin, Vic Watkins (Gail Case); and many friends and extended family.

A graveside service will be held Friday, May 22, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Stoneville Cemetery, located on Thomas Street in Stoneville, North Carolina, with Pastor Rudy Wood officiating.
