Robert Pattinson says he’s ‘feeling my age’ filming ‘The Batman Part II’

Battinson may be back, but he’s feeling his age.
Robert Pattinson is currently filming the long-awaited superhero sequel The Batman Part II. The actor celebrated his 40th birthday a month before filming started on the project in London this June. He told GQ in a recent interview that making an action movie feels different at 40.
“I’m in London here till the end of the year doing a Batman sequel,” Pattinson said. “It’s good. I’m definitely feeling my age when fighting a lot. I’m literally like, ‘G******, this is significantly harder than it used to be.’”
The actor said even though making the movie is harder, it’s still “really fun” to do.
“I think the movie’s going to be pretty great. It’s got a really, really fun cast, but it’s a marathon,” Pattinson said.
The cast of The Batman Part II includes franchise newcomers and A-listers Scarlett Johansson and Sebastian Stan, whose roles have yet to be announced. Charles Dance, Brian Tyree Henry and Sebastian Koch also star in the Matt Reeves-directed movie.
The Batman Part II is set to open in theaters on Feb. 18, 2028. It has been delayed multiple times. The film was first scheduled to open on Oct. 2, 2026, before it was delayed to Oct. 1, 2027.
Reeves announced the most recent release date change in a video he posted to Vimeo on July 15. The video also features the first camera test footage of Pattinson back in costume as the caped crusader.

Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton was transported to a Miami area hospital this week, where he was said to be receiving medical attention after appearing to harm himself on a TikTok livestream video, law enforcement officials said Wednesday.
The update, which did not mention Hilton by name, comes after law enforcement in Miami responded to Hilton’s home on Tuesday after receiving multiple calls claiming Hilton was “livestreaming acts of self-harm on social media,” according to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office.
“The individual has been safely recovered and transported by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue to a local hospital, where he is receiving medical attention,” the Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday. “The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office Crisis Response Unit and Licensed Mental Health Professionals are also on scene providing support and resources to the individual’s family.”
Hilton’s TikTok livestream on Tuesday allegedly appeared to show him harming himself with a knife, with a bloody torso and face.
The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office said in a previous statement Tuesday that deputies spoke with his family members on scene and “tactically disengaged while continuing to monitor the situation.”
“In many incidents involving a person experiencing a mental health crisis or actively harming themselves, deputies prioritize de-escalation by creating time, distance, and opportunities for communication,” the Sheriff’s Office said, adding this tactic can “reduce the likelihood of a suicide-by-cop encounter and minimize the risk of injury to the individual, deputies, and the public.”
Hilton’s representatives, Golden Artists Entertainment, released a statement Tuesday night, saying they were “aware of the concerning content circulating online involving our client.”
“At this time, we have not been able to make direct contact with him, despite our ongoing efforts to reach him. Our primary concern is Perez’s health and well being, as well as the well being of his family,” the statement added.

The youngest Weasley sibling in HBO’s Harry Potter series is getting recast.
Gracie Cochrane, the actress who portrays Ginny Weasley in the upcoming Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, will not return to play the character in season 2 of the series, ABC Audio has confirmed.
Gracie and her family released a statement regarding her decision to exit the show.
“Due to unforeseen circumstances Gracie has made the challenging decision to step away from her role as Ginny Weasley in the HBO Harry Potter series after season one,” the statement reads. “Her time as part of the Harry Potter world has been truly wonderful, and she is deeply grateful to Lucy Bevan and the entire production team for creating such an unforgettable experience. Gracie is very excited about the opportunities her future holds.”
HBO also released a statement on Gracie’s decision to leave the show.
“We support Gracie Cochrane and her family’s decision not to return for the next season of HBO’s Harry Potter series, and we are grateful for her work on season one of the show. We wish Gracie and her family the best,” HBO’s statement reads.
HBO renewed its Harry Potter series for season 2 on May 6. The renewal announcement came months ahead of the debut of the show’s first season.
Dominic McLaughlin leads the cast as Harry Potter. He stars alongside Alastair Stout and Arabella Stanton, who play Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. The show is described as a faithful adaptation of the books by J.K. Rowling, who serves as an executive producer.
Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone will air on HBO and debut to HBO Max on Christmas Day 2026. Season 2 is set to begin production in fall 2026.

Dolly Parton’s sister Stella Parton is remembering the late singer’s generosity — including a decision she made near the end of her life in hopes of helping others.
In a moving tribute shared on Facebook, Stella Parton revealed that the 9 to 5 singer, who died at 80 this week after a brief battle with cancer, told her that even if there was no hope for her, she would allow her medical team to try experimental drugs in the hope that the treatment could help others in the future.
“My sister was one of the most generous, thoughtful and kind people I’ve ever known,” she wrote, adding that she was always thinking of others “and if you want to honor her legacy, show more kindness, lift others up and give more of your time and resources as she continued to do to the very end.”
Stella Parton also reflected on the close relationship she shared with her big sister, including their weekly tradition of waking up early and having coffee together over the phone.
“Being little farm girls we’ve continued to be early risers,” she wrote. “As she liked to say; ‘shoot Tedda we get more work done before the sun comes up than most folks do all day long!’ We would catch up on gossip, as sisters do, and drink coffee and make plans as it has always been our way.”
Stella Parton also shared how her sister’s outlook shaped their conversations, recalling how her sister would laugh off her complaints about other people.
“Dolly loved the world and everyone in it,” she wrote. “I would criticize and complain about it and she would laugh and say; ‘shoot Tedda, we’ve got more important things to do than worry about their silly a****.'”
She added, “She was right and proved it everyday.”
Stella Parton thanked everyone who has shown love and respect to her sister and their family following her sister’s death.
“My Tuesday morning coffee time will never be the same, but her love, respect and goodness will remain,” she added.
She also ended her message with a call for others to carry on her sister’s example, writing, “She left the world a better place by being in it, so let’s follow her example. Love and respect to all of you.”
Stella Parton was one of Dolly Parton’s 11 siblings.
According to People, the late singer’s siblings also include Willadeene, David, Coy, Robert Jr., Cassie, Larry, Floyd, twins Freidda and Rachel, and Randy, a singer-songwriter, who died from cancer in 2021. Her brother Coy also died in July 2026 at the age of 82, according to an obituary from Atchley Funeral Home.
“It was crowded!” Dolly Parton told The Guardian in 2016. “With that many brothers and sisters there was plenty of teasing and fighting, but we were all in it together.”
Following her death, many around the world have mourned her. Across Hollywood, Nashville and beyond, many have shared memories with her and why she meant so much to them.
