Average gas prices in Virginia are up 9.5 cents a gallon from last week, averaging $3.06, according to GasBuddy.com. Prices are 6.3 cents higher than a month ago and 14.4 cents lower than a year ago. The national average price is up 3.4 cents to $3.12.
