Obituaries

Andrew Wade Stanley, 73, passed away August 26, 2025, at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, NC. He was born in Virginia to the late S. Earl and Gaynell Wilson Stanley, a brother, Larry Stanley, and a sister, Patricia (Pat) Stanley.

His two sisters and brothers-in-law survive him: Linda and David Conner, and Joyce and Victor (Vic) Johniddes, as well as several nieces and nephews who often referred to him affectionately as “Crazy Uncle Andrew.”

At Andrew's request, services will be held privately, with Director Kelly G. Ratcliff officiating; entombment will take place in the Mausoleum at Roselawn Burial Park.

Roselawn Funeral Home is in charge.
