Obituaries

Jeffery Todd Richardson, 64, of Callands, Virginia, transitioned from this earthly life Tuesday, August 19, 2025. He was born December 13, 1960, in Chatham, Virginia, to the late John Alison Richardson and Angeline Flora Mitchell Richardson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sharon Richardson Jones and brother, Carol Alison Richardson.

Jeffery was of the Christian faith and the Baptist community of worship. He was a hard worker and dedicated to his work, spending 15 years in the logging industry and 10 years in construction work. In his leisure time he enjoyed being outdoors and fishing and hunting. His hobbies included playing cards with his siblings as well as playing pool and pinball machines.

He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him. Left to cherish his memory are his brother, David Lee Richardson; nephews, David Rigney, Billy Jo Finney; and extended family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. The family wishes to extend their gratitude for the outpouring of love and concern during their time of grief.
