Obituaries

Jessie “Link” Lincoln Morrison, 69, of Axton, Virginia, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2025. He was born on September 6, 1956, in Martinsville, Virginia, to the late John Clemons Morrison and Bertha Juanita Doss Spencer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Cathy Barker Morrison.

Link enjoyed being outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was happy to spend time at the beach whenever he was able. The thing that mattered most to him was caring for his family in any way that he could.

He is survived by his stepdaughter, Angela Willis; son, Jessie “Brian” Morrison; sister, Eleanor Mullins; brother, Paul Clemons Morrison (Debbie); and grandson, Timothy Willis.

The family wishes to express their gratitude for the kindness shown during their time of grief.
