Obituaries

Kevin Lee Joyce, 40, of Roanoke, Va. passed away Thursday, August 21, 2025. He was born in Martinsville, Va. February 5, 1985, to Jimmy and Pam Joyce.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Kellie Joyce; two sons, other family members and his in-laws.

Kevin was a graduate of Fieldale Collinsville High School where he played clarinet and percussion in the band and was on the Math Academic Team. He graduated from UNC Ashville with a Meteorology Degree. He graduated from Liberty University with a Masters Degree.

He was a high school math teacher and enjoyed playing games with his family. He played the piano for his church.

A visitation will be held at 11:00 am to 12:30 pm on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at First Baptist Church of Collinsville. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm and will be officiated by Pastor Larry Cheek and Pastor Ron Young, Jr. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Garden.
