HENRY COUNTY, Va. – Virginia State Police is investigating a two-vehicle crash, which resulted in a fatality. The crash occurred Friday, (Apr 12) at 3:48 p.m. on Original Henry Road, near Bellwood Road in Henry County.
A 1996 Honda Civic was traveling east on Original Henry Road when the vehicle crossed the center-line and struck a Chevrolet 2500 head-on.
The driver of the Honda was identified as Jonathan Lee Adkins, 46, of Ferrum, Va. Mr. Adkins was not wearing his seatbelt and died at the scene.
The Virginia State Police Crash Reconstruction Team was called to assist with the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
