Lois “Dale” Hedrick Huff, 69, of Martinsville, Virginia, transitioned from this earthly life Friday, January 23, 2026. She was born in Martinsville, Virginia, on April 8, 1956, to the late Lois Reva Barbour Hedrick and Giles Thomas Hedrick.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon Huff; and sister, Dorothy Wingfield.

Dale was a graduate of Franklin County High School and worked for many years as a factory and store merchandizer. She loved spending time at the beach and enjoyed dancing, music, and attending concerts. Dale was known for her ability to cook, and she absolutely loved sweet iced tea. She always took loving care of her Pomeranian dog, “Tink.” Nothing brought her more joy than being a mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren, whom she deeply loved. Her legacy of love and laughter will forever be imprinted on the hearts of everyone who knew her.

Those left to cherish and honor her memory are her son, Shannon Huff (Sarah); sister, Virginia Bowles; brother, Daniel Ray Hedrick; grandchildren, Ethan Huff, Annabelle Huff, and Caroline Huff; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be given to the Lois Huff memorial fund in care of Wright Funeral Service.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, February 1, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Bassett Chapel, with Pastor Ronald Coleman officiating.
